Apex Holiday Parade (Annual)

Every December Pack 312 is an important part of the annual Apex Holiday Parade! This parade is a great opportunity to showcase our pack, provide recruiting information, and support our community. Our pack participates by marching with fun props and holiday accessories, handing out recruiting materials along the way.

The parade is typically held on the FIRST SATURDAY of December, and parade line up is 4:15pm at Hunter Street Park, downtown Apex.

2025 INFORMATION BELOW!

When: Saturday December 6th, 2025 parade starts at 5PM (line-up no later than 4:30pm)

Where to Go: We are number 15 in the parade line up-Number sign will be closer toThales School/Storage facility (further down Ambergate, coming from Skate Park)
Line up happens on Ambergate Station Road, where Hunter Street Park is (see attached map).

What to Wear: Please wear your class A uniform if you have it(Class B is okay too). We will be handing out Red/White Santa Hats and fun accessories. We will have holiday props, banners, etc for many scouts to carry and showcase. If you want to bring something special, feel free!

Who: Scouts, Parents, Leaders, Siblings & Pack Volunteers are all welcome to walk along with us!

Additional Details: The parade starts at 5:00pm at the intersection of Ambergate Station and The Peakway, then heading down Salem street and ending at the Apex Public Works buildings on Upchurch St. We may be decorating a trailer for the parade, more details to come!

Additional TIPS/TRICKS:

Leave 1 car parked on Moore St. by the Apex Public Works building or Cornerstone Fellowship Church across HWY 55 where the parade ends during the day time on Saturday. .
Park at Thales, Church next to Thales, or Food Lion parking lot and walk over to Ambergate Station (Ambergate is where line up starts near Ample Storage 1136 Ambergate Station, Apex, NC 27502 )
Parade starts at 5pm but they will start closing & blocking off the roads at 4pm, so it's better to head out a few minutes prior to 4.
Dress according to the weather!!
Wear comfortable shoes as we will be walking down main street.
I suggest strollers/wagon for children 4yrs & under in case they get tired from walking, & bring a blanket to stay warm
Pack a small snack to have while waiting before the parade starts.
Go to the bathroom before you come. There may be a line for the bathroom located on the baseball field.
